Check out if they run with Kontakt (free). If it turns out that all you need is Kontakt (full) and some Guitar Packs. To be honest, I can not give you a good advise in what to do, as I do not have the MK3 and am not into Guitars.
KOMPLETE 12 ULTIMATE COLLECTORS UPGRADE
To see this upgrade path, you do first need to register the SN of the Hardware in your Native Access Software. I did get it for 49 because I do have a NI M32 Keyboard. For example Komplete Select was 99 at the Summer of Sound. What you should know: If you possess NI Hardware, you get a deduct for updates. They expire after 6 months, I did not cared for that so far. I did recieved 3 times a 25 Eur voucher for a NI sound-pack and never used them, as I do not need these. Cost more.ĭon´t be fooled by the "You save X-Thousands" if you buy the big package. But it could be that you can not do it this time as V 13 just had been released an they may not give a 50% deduct now. At the summer of sound and from BF till the fist days of January. So basically you can buy this product two times a year for 300 Eur/USD.
KOMPLETE 12 ULTIMATE COLLECTORS UPDATE
From Select the update was possible to Komplete (full) 12 for 200.
KOMPLETE 12 ULTIMATE COLLECTORS CODE
Regular Price 600.Īt the Summer of Sound NI gave away a code to get Select for 99. I think I did installed half of them so far. I can´t remember how many packages are in it. This is in July (or June?) every year, when NI gives a 50% deduct on updates. I bought the Version 12 at the last summer of sound. Is not that good from my point of view as Kontakt (full) is not in it. You sign up on the website, download Native Access and anything you see there is available for you for free.

You get a lot of presets, but you already have those with Standard.Įxpansions are fun and can be bought individually, they are a good way to add some nice presets and samples, and they can be a good way to spend your NI vouchers. Already in Standard there are way too many "fiddly controls" synths that may be good for getting some random inspiration, but I don't feel they really add to the toolbox.
KOMPLETE 12 ULTIMATE COLLECTORS FULL
To get the full Symphony Series you need to upgrade twice, there's not much else that hits my eye, maybe the cinematic stuff.

more, but even though I have heavy "collectivitis" (wanting to have everything) I find it hard to justify. (Not to mention full Kontakt - a prerequisite for many sample libraries out there.)

It is much easier to work with, a great step forward. You get all the synths and tools - Reaktor, Massive, Massive X, Absynth, Prism, MikroPrism - these are tools that allow you to do anything, and Massive X is a steal in a bundle or at half-price. U/uberdavis is absolutely right - Ultimate is not as good an investment as Standard is.įor me, Standard was a no-brainer.
